Best quote i’ve heard on vision ever… was from Perry— and He was quoting Andy— He made this profound statement:  “Vision Leaks”

That’s all… vision leaks… like a sssslow sssshrinking tire… Vision sssslowly sssseeps out of any church or organization or team.  

Now for my rant:

     January is my 2yr anniversary of joining NS staff as a student pastor.  In that two years i have been able to meet and network with a lot of other folks who have a heart for seeing the next generation meet Jesus in a life changing way.  Through those conversations and my observations there has been 1 obstacle that consistently shows up.  It doesn’t matter if i’m talking to senior pastors… or student pastors… or youth workers… or student leaders… 1 obstacle is a common denominator… VISION…

Here’s the deal, when it comes to the vision in any Church, it HAS BEEN SET BY GOD- His Church is a place that MAKES DISCIPLES… if you arent seeing that happen— then YOU ARENT HIS CHURCH… 

The responsibility for seeing that Vision occur falls squarely on EVERY CHRISTIAN… Although, none is more responsible than the Senior Pastor-  The life of your people is at stake.

The most effective way of accomplishing that vision (in your city/town/village/hamlet/community) has to be owned by the Senior Pastor.  

So What’s your vision?  Has it been defined?  Who defines it?  How often is it RE-emphasized?  Vision Leaks… PUMP UP YOUR VISION… 

NewSpring’s Vision gets re-emphasized all the time… This wks message was a perfect example…
