This is perfect for the amateur bedroom hobbyist that is content to spend $$$ on gear for his/her own pleasure.
For the serious musician, this is a huge #FAIL because a real musician should always aspire to have GREAT EARS... that are always sensing/feeling out intonation and subtle differences/changes in tuning.
Learning to keep your instrument in tune is essential, and these robotic tuners work against that.

you can say it tunes itself, but each guitar has it's own different sound, so tuning by a tuner is good, but if you can get the perfect sound by tuning by ear it's much better.
I think it's cool though, I would of added a few more features for each seperate string to go along with the user interface that the program has for it, but it's not bad. I love to tune by ear though, so this is more of a toy for me. besides, you would have to make sure the battery is easy to replace if you are in the middle of a show, and there are some other hazards that might go along with it. Also, you can't play it in the rain like rainsong guitars etc. but I would probably still mess with it. XD
