  HA...any college football fan would be out of their mind to not want a playoff system, but does our government really need to step in? I'm not really into politics, but I would think they have some bigger fish to fry...just sayin'

  It's ridiculous, though, that our government is trying to push this. I don't think its a government issue.

  As a college football addict I am all in favor of a playoff system.
  As an American, I do feel there are many other things Congress should be addressing and spending their time on. You also have to look at all the money that is generated from all of the bowl games and ask if it is worth it to switch to playoffs. IMO, yes, it is :)
