All-Staff meeting w/ Perry Noble

Yesterday was NewSpring church’s monthly All-Staff meeting.  It’s always a great time to get all our campuses and ministry teams together to corporately worship and hear a challenging word from the Lord via Perry….


Yesterday had the added energy of having all of Perry’s Coaching Network pastors and many of their staff and volunteers in attendance… (if you’re a pastor you should take advantage of this resource the next time Perry makes it available).


Leadership Talk was based on this Truth:

“What we VALUE will DRIVE how we BEHAVE”


Perry’s main purpose in challenging the staff and other pastors was that we make time… we pour our resources into… we create margin for… we guard…  that  which we value… so we must face ourselves and ask ‘WHAT DO I VALUE?’


  1. We Value CHURCH - The Local Church was established by God in Matthew 16 and THEN the Church was given a Mission… ‘The mission doesnt have a church… rather, THE CHURCH HAS A MISSION’
  2. We Value CONVERSION - ‘At the end of the day, if people are not coming to Christ we have a problem‘  - Luke 15 speaks of the value of ‘the 1′… the 1 sheep… the 1 coin… the 1 son… ‘We cannot stop overlooking the 1… Jesus chased after the 1′  -  ’We must not value attendance above repentance… rather, preaching repentance will take care of attendance.’  – ‘Life’s Short and Hell’s Hot… But God’s Good and Jesus Saves”
  3. We Value CHEMISTRY - ‘The Teamwork makes the dreamwork…’  – We have to continually ask ourselves if we ‘believe in the purpose… and believe in the people’….
  4. We Value CHARACTER - The enemy wants to compromise our CHARACTER… “Satan’s not worried about your ministry… He’s coming after your CHARACTER… If he can get your CHARACTER, he has your ministry...” — We must continue to remember our call to live lives of CHARACTER.
  5. We Value COURAGE - We will continue to value the “perhaps” of 1st samuel 14 — We will always press to make decisions God MUST HAVE A ROLE IN otherwise we’d experience utter failure…
  6. We Value His COMMANDS - Scripture will always lead our way.  ”God’s Word illuminate God’s Will”  – “Hear His Word… Speak His Word… Do His Word” — “Our Theology must drive our Methodology” — We must continue to dig into God’s Word because ‘Today’s Church cannot be lead on yesterday’s revelation.’
  7. We Value God’s CALLING - We must always remember that we don’t validate ourselves… The only reason we have any creditability is because Christ redeemed us and called us…We should continually be astonished that God allows us to touch anything of this caliber… We ARE UNWORTHY but yet we are still here doing what HE’S CALLED US TO DO—
